About the Product

The BLOCKsignalling BD168 is a terminal adaptor board for the Digitrax BDL168 occupancy detector, providing convenient screw-terminal connections and eliminating the need to solder wires directly to the BDL168 PCB connection pads.

The adaptor makes installation, wiring and future board replacement considerably easier. Rather than permanently soldering layout wiring to the BDL168, connections can be made using the clearly accessible screw terminals on the BD168.

Duplicated ZA, ZB, ZC and ZD terminals are provided to simplify installations where these connections need to be commoned together. The N connection, which would normally require a connection to the underside of the BDL168 board, is also brought out to its own convenient screw terminal.

Easy BDL168 Connections

The BD168 provides a convenient interface between your layout wiring and the connection pads on the Digitrax BDL168.

This is particularly useful for permanent installations because the layout wiring can remain connected to the terminal adaptor if the BDL168 needs to be removed or replaced, avoiding the inconvenience of repeatedly soldering connections directly to the detector board.

ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD & N Connections

The ZA, ZB, ZC and ZD connections are duplicated, making it easier to link or common these terminals where required.

The N connection is also brought out to its own screw terminal, avoiding the need to make the normal connection directly to the underside of the BDL168 board.
