Working signals add life and realism to any layout, but wiring signals - especially those with multiple aspects - can quickly become complex. This BLOCKsignalling controller allows signals to be connected to almost any power source and significantly simplifies the wiring between the module and the signal head.

Signals normally display green. When a train passes the detector, the signal immediately switches to red. Once the train has fully cleared the detector, the signal returns to green, passing through yellow and double-yellow stages when using multi-aspect signals.

The module features realistic fading between aspects to simulate the behavior of traditional filament lamps. The fade rate can be adjusted to suit your layout or disabled entirely if a sharper LED-style transition is preferred.

Compatibility Information

  • Not suitable for filament lamps
  • For common-cathode signals (Eckon, Train Tech, Berko, Traintronics, Absolute Aspects), use ASP1-NS

Power Requirements

  • Can be powered from 8V to 25V DC
  • Can be powered from 8V to 16V AC
  • Can be powered directly from the DCC power bus or track
  • Built-in resistors eliminate the need for external current limiting
