About the Product

The BLOCKsignalling DAP1A is an automatic semaphore signal controller designed to bring realistic train detection and signal operation to your model railway. Using an infra-red sensor mounted beneath the track, the module detects passing trains and automatically changes the connected Dapol semaphore signal from Danger to Clear.

Once the train has passed, the signal remains at Clear for a user-defined period before returning to Danger, simulating authentic railway operation without manual input. The module also includes outputs for control panel LEDs, allowing you to monitor signal status remotely.

The DAP1A is fully programmable, with adjustable timing, detection sensitivity, and release delay. Settings are configured using a simple push button and LED feedback system, making it easy to tailor performance to your layout.
