About the Product

The BLOCKsignalling SSM1 Station Stop Module is designed to automate DC model trains running along a line or around a loop with a station stop. It automatically stops trains at a station platform, controls departure timing, and can reverse the direction of travel on each run if required.

The module uses infra-red sensors mounted below the track to detect trains and stop them accurately without the need for track cutting. Based on the proven SAS2-IR shuttle controller, the SSM1 adds additional operating modes for station stopping and loop operation while retaining full shuttle functionality.

• Retains all operating modes of the SAS2-IR, allowing flexible reuse as a shuttle controller.
  
• Fully programmable to tailor operation to the layout.

• Requires a 12V DC power supply.
  
• Typical current consumption is approximately 0.25A.
