About the Product

This Signal Controller is designed to detect the presence of trains and automatically operate a semaphore signal in response. It provides an easy way to add realistic, hands-free signal operation to a model railway layout.

The module detects trains by emitting invisible infra-red (IR) light towards the underside of the rolling stock and sensing the reflected light. When a train is detected, a built-in control program operates the connected semaphore signal automatically.
