PPI4-KATO Points Position Indicator

About the Product

This version of the Points Position Indicator (PPI) is designed for systems where the direction of the points is switched by reversing the polarity of the feed to the motor coil.

The PPI monitors the brief switching pulses applied to the points motor coils and displays the most recent operation using coloured LEDs. These LEDs can be mounted on a route mimic or control panel to provide a clear and reliable visual indication of point positions.

• Monitors the brief operating voltage applied to points motor coils when they are switched by polarity reversal.
• Lights the corresponding LED on a control panel to show the last operation of each set of points.
• Supports monitoring of up to 8 sets of points.
• LED brightness is adjustable to suit different lighting conditions.
• No resistors are required, simplifying wiring and installation.
• Opto-isolated inputs accept voltages from +5V to +60V.
• All settings are automatically saved to memory when the power is switched off.
